At the bottom of the page you can see a PDF recording just how well the training is going (or not)

25th January

First day of training

After finally finding some joggers that still fitted it was off for a 6 mile walk just to see how I was going to cope.  Well I completed it in 1 hour 40 minutes so not exactly fast but at least I have a good idea that i can go the distance. however my left hip is very sore and I need to to by some new trainers.

26th January

Took to the car and measured out some routes to walk/run, there's a short 2 mile route which is very flat. A 2 1/2 mile route which is 75% uphill if i walk it a certain way. A 4 mile route which has a couple of steepish hills, and the 6 mile walk that I did yesterday. As the fitness returns i'll start to run them as opposed to the fast walking I am doing at the moment

Due to my hip still being very sore I restricted myself to on 2 mile walk today.
